Parental and Infant Health During Lactation is an all-day course that builds on basic breastfeeding and lactation knowledge. The 5 instructors cover a variety of topics regarding the intersection of maternal and infant health conditions and lactation.

Goals for this webinar include:

Identify common chronic maternal and infant medical conditions that impact lactation
Explain how the parental diet may affect milk quality
Discuss the evaluation of a breastfed or human milk-fed infant who is growing slowly
Describe the relationship between parental weight and lactation
Explain the variety of food allergies that may occur among breastfed infants
